Why using this system?
> Low stability of the flexible packaging within the drawer when using a different upright casepacking system.
> This casepacking system enables to work without the intermediate station used in the rest of DELTA models. As we don’t need to place the collation drawer, the introducer and its corresponding servomotor we reduce costs and maintenance.
> Lower machine footprint
> Fast format changeover. It is avoid the side adjustment process of suction caps placed in the drawer, the introducer plate and side & bottom flaps. Only the suction caps will be changed.
> The same Pick & Place system direct to case provides two different casepacking. The product will be placed either in upright or flat position and alternating top-to-bottom if necessary (doypacks) to assure better footing and positioning into the case.
> Through a pneumatic drive mechanism, the case remains inclined in the required position for a later upright introduction of the doypack.
> The entire aluminium mechanism is inclined with a single cylinder whereas if the case conveyor is turned the drive extension would be largest.
> Significant cost reduction: It has been designed looking for simplicity and efficiency at a low price.
Head
As all type of packaging can be casepacked, either in upright or flat position, a single picking head provides different functionalities:
Double turning head. Optional turning, is only required for flat casepaking.
Tilting head. The turning drive remains in OFF mode for upright casepacking. The tilting drive starts working allowing doypacks to be stand-up into the case.
